I enjoy writing, and when I manage to express thoughts clearly I get a sense of achievement.
A quote that is always at the back of my mind when writing a post was from an email discussion that I had with David Pinnegar of Hammerwood Park where he wrote: “Wittgenstein’s concept that the last barrier to humanity is the understanding of language.” It is a reminder how language is used, by who, and for what reason. However, my hope is that when a reader understands the thoughts discussed in the blog they go on to develop their own!
